By car

You will start to see signs for MECC Maastricht as soon as you reach the outskirts of Maastricht. Follow these signs until you reach the MECC car park. If you are travelling south on the A2/E25 motorway (from Amsterdam-Eindhoven) take exit 55 signposted 'Randwyck-MECC'. If you are travelling north on the A2/E25 motorway (from Paris-Liège) take exit 56 signposted 'Gronsveld-MECC'.

By train

Maastricht-Randwyck station is located 250 metres from MECC Maastricht and is part of the national and international railway network. There are frequent trains to Maastricht Central Station, which is also linked to the national and international railway network. You can also take a taxi from Maastricht Central Station or use the Shuttle service (see Shuttle service).

The Maastricht-Brussels Express takes you from Maastricht to the centre of Brussels in only an hour and fifteen minutes. For Paris you change trains for the Thalys and for London you change trains for the Eurostar. You can also change trains for the train to Brussels Airport.

Thalys takes you to TEFAF!
Thalys offers TEFAF visitors coming from Paris a single train ticket from Paris Gare du Nord to Maastricht Central Station, valid for both the Thalys train to Liège-Guillemins and the connecting intercity service to Maastricht Central Station. Thalys enables you to travel to Maastricht in under three hours, eight times a day.

Shuttle service
During the Fair there is a free shuttle service to and from a number of hotels in Maastricht. The shuttle also stops at Maastricht Central Station. Please enquire at your hotel for departure times.
Information about Maastricht
Maastricht is one of the the oldest cities in the Netherlands, close to the German-Belgian border. The city has a long and eventful history. Its magnificent museums and art galleries, interesting architecture, good restaurants, elegant shops and lively atmosphere make Maastricht and its surroundings a delight to visit.

Düsseldorf is only an hour’s drive from Maastricht, and famous for its shopping. Interesting historic cities like Aachen, Cologne, Antwerp, Brussels and the charming, intimate Belgian cities of Bruges and Ghent are also within easy reach of Maastricht.
