General rules
In order to make TEFAF a pleasant experience, we ask that our guests comply with a few basic rules:
  • Large bags, backpacks and umbrellas must be deposited at the coat check before entering the exhibition halls
  • Dogs and other pets are not permitted in the exhibition halls
  • Jewellery in handbags must be reported before you enter the fair
  • Please do not bring art or antiques for valuation
  • Taking photos and making videos is not allowed unless the exhibitor or visitor has given permission
  • Unofficial guided tours are not allowed
  • Smoke is allowed in the smoking areas
  • Objects are secured electronically
  • There is strict security at the Fair and security personnel are permitted to search visitors

By car

You will start to see signs for MECC Maastricht as soon as you reach the outskirts of Maastricht. Follow these signs until you reach the MECC car park. If you are travelling south on the A2/E25 motorway (from Amsterdam-Eindhoven) take exit 55 signposted 'Randwyck-MECC'. If you are travelling north on the A2/E25 motorway (from Paris-Liège) take exit 56 signposted 'Gronsveld-MECC'. Plan your route  http://www.viamichelin.co.uk


By train

Maastricht-Randwyck station is located 250 metres from MECC Maastricht and is part of the national and international railway network. There are frequent trains to Maastricht Central Station, which is also linked to the national and international railway network. You can also take a taxi from Maastricht Central Station or use the Shuttle service.

There will also be a shuttle service to the MECC for visitors travelling by train to Liège Guillemins, running from 14 to 25 March. Advance booking is required via http://brull.nl/boek-online/ . For more information contact Brull Taxi +31 (0)43 343 0000.

There are several airports serving Maastricht:

The Netherlands

  • Maastricht-Aachen Airport, www.maa.nl
    Located 10 kilometres from the Fair and only 15 minutes away by car, taxi or bus. Private planes can land at Maastricht-Aachen Airport.
    Maastricht-Aachen Airport offers direct connections to Amsterdam (Schiphol), Berlin (Schönefeld), Munich (Franz Josef Strauss) and Paris (Charles de Gaulle).
