These Louis XV-style silver casters are among the largest of their kind ever made in the Netherlands. The waisted foot has gently spiralling vertical lines springing from four curled rocailles around the base of the foot. These four vertical ribs flow up from the foot into the plain baluster-shaped body and the splendid engraved and pierced top with floral motifs, rocailles and latticework. The knop on the top is in the shape of an upstanding flower with four upright petals.
