Limestone Height 12 cm (4.7 in.) Cypriote, 1st quarter of 5th century BC (Cypro-Archaic II)

Small head of a young man with a wreath in his hair. Oval face, low forehead, almond-shaped eyes and Archaic smile. Several rows of schematic curls frame the face. Above them, a wreath of stylised, upright laurel leaves.
