Paintings, drawings and sculptures of Italian and European Masters from the XVIth to the early XXth century, mainly Baroque.
With twenty years’ experience in the art market, Umberto Giacometti founded Giacometti Old Master Paintings in 2014, in partnership with art historian Miriam Di Penta, Ph.D. Specialists in Italian old-master paintings, mainly Baroque, they select, research and exhibit paintings, drawings and sculptures by Italian and European masters from the 16th to the early 20th century. Engaged in an ongoing dialogue with scholars, museum curators, artists and collectors, they are constantly honing their understanding and expertise.
Since its inception, Giacometti Old Master Paintings has exhibited at the major international art fairs such as TEFAF Maastricht, Paris Tableau, Munich Highlights and the Biennale internazionale dell’Antiquariato, Florence and Rome.
The Rome gallery is housed in a Renaissance palazzo and garden near Piazza Farnese.
