French architecture, furniture, and design from the mid-20th century
For about 35 years, Philippe Jousse has maintained a passion for the 20th century furniture aesthetic, contributing ceaselessly to creators’ gratitude, such as Jean Prouvé, Charlotte Perriand, Alexandre Noll, Jean Royère, Mathieu Matégot, Pierre Jeanneret, Georges Jouve, Serge Mouille, and Le Corbusier. Philippe Jousse has played an important role in the development of French and foreign collectors' tastes by developing two parallel activities, architect furniture and contemporary art. In his gallery, Jousse Entreprise, located on Rue de Seine, he represents 1950s-era furniture created by French architects, creators from the 1960s and 1970s, represented by Matthias Jousse, and recently, Emmanuel Boss and Kristin McKirdy.
