OSBORNE SAMUEL GALLERY is one of London’s leading galleries, long established in the heart of Mayfair. The gallery began as Berkeley Square Gallery and became Osborne Samuel when Peter Osborne and Gordon Samuel joined forces in 2004.
Osborne Samuel has collaborated with Connaught Brown to curate a complementary exhibition of Modern British and European art at TEFAF, an identity we have developed successfully over the last 11 years.
We have worked together over the years to create interesting and intellectually stimulating stands. We have shown major works by European and British Modern masters including Chadwick, Hepworth, Manet, Monet, Moore, Nicholson and Chagall. We have placed several outdoor British sculptures in European collections and at TEFAF 2019 our early Gauguin 'Fleurs et oiseau, décor de tambourin', c.1884-1886 was sold to a major US museum. This followed the success of TEFAF 2018 where our van Gogh 'Still Life' garnered much publicity and was sold to an important museum from the fair.
Over the years we have built a significant and unique voice at TEFAF, showcasing a depth of understanding in 20th century British and European art, introducing collectors and museums to both major artworks and new discoveries.
