Nineteenth and Twentieth Century Paintings; Sculpture from 1830
For nearly four decades the Salzburg based gallery of Thomas Salis has operated as a specialist in 19th and 20th century art. A special focus lies on French Impressionists, Nabis artists, Fauvists and Austrian art around the turn of the century. Artists like Pierre Bonnard, Camille Pissarro and Édouard Vuillard as well as Marc Chagall and Jean Miró have been presented in monothematic exhibitions during the festival periods in Salzburg. On international art fairs such as TEFAF Maastricht - where the gallery has exhibited for over thirty years – Thomas Salis has distinguished himself with his fine selection of works on paper, paintings and scuptures.
