Senger Bamberg Kunsthandel
Senger Bamberg Kunsthandel is specialized in Gothic and Renaissance sculptures and medieval art, including works by Franconian and Swabian artists as Tilman Riemenschneider, Michel Erhart or Hans Klocker as well as old master paintings by the workshop of Lucas Cranach. In addition, we offer a fine selection of paintings of the 15th - 20th century, furniture of the 18th - 20th century, and a variety of exquisite works of art.
Senger Bamberg Kunsthandel was founded in 1970 by Walter Senger. His two daughters Silvia Herzog and Simone Kundmüller grew up in the art and antique trade and soon joined the family business. From the beginning, Walter Senger was tirelessly looking for the extraordinary, aiming to present works of art of the highest quality, and thus laid the foundation for the company's outstanding reputation. Over the past nearly fifty decades, Senger Bamberg Kunsthandel has earned the trust of numerous private collectors and international museums. The family business is continued today by Walter Senger's son-in-law Thomas Herzog.
For nearly 50 years, the family business Senger Bamberg Kunsthandel has been based in the heart of the famous Bamberg city centre with its beautiful baroque architecture. In three historical galleries, including a Gothic cellar for sculptures, we present rare and exquisite art from the 15th to the 20th century.
