Jason Jacques Gallery’s thirty year history as the world’s leading ceramic art gallery, began with art nouveau pottery and Japonisme; they now show and represent world renowned ceramic artists form past and present. They participate in an international roster of fairs, and host gallery exhibitions, tours, and talks at their Madison Avenue space, in addition to participating in art fairs in Miami, San Francisco, Dallas, Maastricht, New York, and Basel.

Its contemporary programming, which includes names such as Morten Løbner Espersen, Gareth Mason, Aneta Regel, Kim Simonsson, Rick Owens, Eric Serritella, Beth Cavener, and Shari Mendelson. Though ceramics and the spirit of the European art pottery tradition is at the heart of what this gallery does, they have expanded into paintings, prints, sculpture, and design, working to maintain relationships and dialogues across mediums.

Located in a historic 1871 Upper East Side Manhattan townhouse, Jason Jacques Gallery holds the world most comprehensive collection of Art Nouveau and Japonist Pottery, including masterworks by stoneware artists Ernest Chaplet, Jean-Joseph Carrie`s, Edmond Lachenal and Adrien Dalypayrat, in addtion to vast holding of iridescent lusterware artists; Lucien Levy-Dhurmer, Clement Massier and Vilmos Zsolnay, as well as an impressive collection of historic prints by Egon Schiele and Gustav Klimt.

Jason Jacques Gallery publications include Exotica, a compendium of scholarly essays on French master ceramists, and a series of research based texts cataloguing the art pottery movement. The gallery has also worked on publications with its contemporary artists, including Kim Simonsson and Gareth Mason.
