TEFAF Maastricht is recognised as being the world’s leading art fair for modern and contemporary art, photographs, jewelry, 20th-century design, works on paper, Old Master paintings, antiques, tribal, and ancient art. The 2017 edition of the fair featured 275 exhibitors from over 20 countries.
TEFAF Maastricht 2018 will run from March 9 through to March 18, with a Preview on March 8, 2018.

Dealers can apply for one of the following sections:

TEFAF Maastricht continues to set the standard for excellence in the art market. Its main sections, TEFAF Pictura, TEFAF Modern, TEFAF Antiques, TEFAF Ancient Art, TEFAF Tribal, TEFAF Design, TEFAF La Haute Joaillerie, and TEFAF Paper are spread across 30,000 square meters of the MECC.
The application for this section is open until May 31, 2017.

Two additional sections provide opportunities and inspiration for exhibitors and visitors alike at TEFAF Maastricht. TEFAF Showcase provides emerging galleries with the opportunity to participate in TEFAF Maastricht for one year and to experience being part of an international fine art event of this calibre.
In its fourth year, TEFAF Curated presents contemporary artists whose work speaks to the themes and intentions of great historical art.

TEFAF Curated complements the Modern section at TEFAF Maastricht. With a focus on contemporary art, it aims to introduce works by living artists that have previously not been shown at the fair.
This exhibition space is designed to interact with the other sections. The objects and installations will be placed in a circuit where the viewer can look backwards and forwards.
In its fourth year, TEFAF Curated presents contemporary artists whose work speaks to the themes and intentions of great historical art.
The first edition of this section, entitled Night Fishing, was curated in collaboration with Sydney Picasso in 2015. This was followed by the exhibition Show your Wound curated by Mark Kremer. In 2017, La Grande Horizontale, was curated by Penelope Curtis.

The application for this section is open until September 15, 2017.

Located in the West Hall of the fair, TEFAF Showcase gives recently established galleries the opportunity to participate in TEFAF Maastricht. The aim of this section is to give younger dealers the invaluable experience of participating in an international art fair.
TEFAF Showcase gives visitors an impression of some of today’s most interesting emerging galleries and dealers from around the world. So far, almost fifty galleries have taken up this challenge, an experience they regard as very worthwhile.
The TEFAF Showcase Committee, consisting of Pieter Dreesmann, Ben Janssens, Rachel Kaminsky, David Kowitz, Christophe de Quénetain and Axel Rüger, will make the selection for 2018.

The application for this section will be open until September 15, 2017.

We look forward to receiving your application.
