TEFAF Showcase gives recently established galleries the opportunity to participate in TEFAF Maastricht for one year and to gain experience of being part of an international fine art event.
The pre-eminence of TEFAF among international art fairs has led to a long waiting list for potential exhibitors and TEFAF Showcase enables some of those keen to take part to do so. It also introduces visitors to the Fair to some of the most interesting emerging galleries from around the world. So far, almost fifty galleries have taken up this challenge, an experience they regard as very positive.
TEFAF SHOWCASE 2018
The TEFAF Showcase selection committee is happy to introduce the five young antique and fine art dealers in Showcase 2018, who will await a fantastic experience in Maastricht. The selection assures visitors to TEFAF that Showcase will be exciting and diverse.
The collections of TEFAF Showcase exhibitors must be of a high standard, enjoy an international reputation and have been active in the art trade from three to ten years. Their objects are also vetted prior to the fair.
Some fortunate participants in the seven previous editions of Showcase have gone on to exhibit at TEFAF.
This year’s chosen exhibitors are:
- Galerie Le Beau; 20th century design
- Cortesi GalleryLondon, Milan, Lugano; Post war art
- Charles-Wesley Hourdé; African, Oceanic and Native American Art
