Saturday, May 05

Description
Social engagement is an exciting evolution in contemporary art practice that puts artists in direct collaboration with individuals and/or communities as co-creators in their process, often with a goal of enacting a social change or creating a more just outcome. This panel discusses the challenges and opportunities that socially engaged art projects present to artists who collaborate with people and cultural institutions, such as the Guggenheim Museum, in order to realize their projects.
