Richard Green is a family business based on Bond Street, Mayfair, at the heart of the London art world. For four generations, we have dealt in paintings of the highest quality, spanning the 17th to the 21st century.
Forming a collection of paintings is both an absorbing and rewarding experience. It also requires discernment and professional guidance. Richard Green works closely with clients to build collections that reflect their individual tastes and ambitions, providing rigorous provenance and scholarly research for each work, alongside advice on framing, display, and all aspects of collecting.
The gallery presents a constantly changing selection of paintings, shown both at 147 New Bond Street and at leading international art fairs, including, TEFAF Maastricht, TEFAF New York, and The Winter Show in New York and Frieze Masters in London. We publish several fully illustrated catalogues each year, exploring different aspects of our exceptional stock.
At 147 New Bond Street, our collection encompasses Old Masters; 18th-century British, Sporting and Marine pictures; Victorian, Impressionist and Post-Impressionist works; Modern British painting; and 20th-century European art.
