Ketabi Bourdet was founded in 2020 in Paris by Charlotte Ketabi-Lebard and Paul Bourdet.
Conceived from the outset as a space where boundaries dissolve, the gallery operates in the increasingly fertile zone where art, design, architecture and scenography intersect. In a landscape where institutions, critics and collectors now navigate between disciplines with unprecedented fluidity, the gallery positions itself as a place where these dialogues are not only possible, but essential.
Driven by the complementary expertise of its founders, Ketabi Bourdet develops exhibitions that explore how artists and designers challenge established narratives, question the status of the functional, and shift historical readings of their respective fields. The gallery represents and collaborates with figures whose practices embody this expanded dialogue — including Inès Longevial, Mie Olise Kjaergaard, Elizabeth Garouste, Philippe Starck, Richard Texier, Dan Friedman, or Idir Davaine and key historical estates such as the Estate of Guy de Rougemont and the Estate of Robert Wilson.
Through monographic and thematic exhibitions, the program aims to re-examine overlooked bodies of work, reveal unexpected correspondences between practices, and highlight creators whose contributions sit at the crossroads of art history and design theory.
Located in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés — Paris’s historic hub for both contemporary art and collectible design — the gallery operates at 22, passage Dauphine, 75006.
