Independent contemporary jewellery, exclusively made in Europe.
Born in Zurich in 1980, Sheibani’s eye for detail was refined early on in a family presided over by her father, the art dealer Bruno Bischofberger. Collecting antique Roman rings sharpened her interest in simple mechanics and how jewellery ages through use. After studying art history at New York University in the early 2000s, Sheibani turned to jewellery design, undertaking gemmology studies at GIA London. Her eponymous business was founded in 2002, with the inaugural collection Valence launched in 2006. Sheibani is known for determining gemstone cuts by how colour reads across a surface, while domestic themes recur as a training ground for colour, proportion and observation. Sheibani has exhibited at PAD London, Design Miami and NOMAD St. Moritz, with showcases at the Louisa Guinness Gallery, Christie’s (London and Shanghai) and Sotheby’s East Hampton. Publications include Cora Sheibani Jewels by William Grant (2022). In 2026, Cora Sheibani marks her first exhibition at TEFAF Maastricht.
