About the Work

Kate Malone is one of the UK’s leading ceramic artists with an illustrious career. Her main studio is in Kent and her glaze archive is located in her small London studio. Her work is often inspired by exotic travels and the growth patterns, ripeness and abundance seen in nature. In addition to her exploration of nature, Kate has spent her career pioneering glazing techniques via research and experimentation in the chemistry of glazing.

Kate has become one of Britain’s most highly regarded ceramic artists since graduating from the Royal College of Art, London, in 1986. Her work is collected internationally and represented in many major public collections.
