Galleri K was founded in Oslo, Norway in 1985 and have since then showed Modern and Contemporary International and Norwegian Art.
From 1994 the gallery began showing major international artists, mainly German, such as Albert Oehlen, Thomas Struth, Andreas Gursky, and group shows including works by Sigmar Polke, Gerhard Richter, Christopher Wool and Martin Kippenberger among others.
Galleri K also deals in Modern Art artists such as Edvard Munch, Pablo Picasso, Auguste Rodin and Paul Gauguin.
