Amsterdam, January 18, 2022 - The European Fine Art Foundation (TEFAF) confirms today that the 35th edition of TEFAF Maastricht will take place Saturday, June 25 – Thursday, June 30, 2022 (by invitation only June 24 and until 2PM on June 25) at the MECC in Maastricht.

Originally due to take place in March, TEFAF Maastricht was postponed in December 2021 due to mounting concerns around COVID-19. Since then, organizers have been working with the fair’s suppliers and stakeholders to confirm the feasibility of a new edition of the fair. The dates were agreed by TEFAF’s Board of Trustees and its Executive Committee, which comprises 13 dealers who represent the interests of the fair’s exhibitors and seven non- dealers.

TEFAF Chairman, Hidde van Seggelen, says: “This was a complex situation which required the input and flexibility of many different individuals and organizations to enable us to reschedule TEFAF Maastricht. We are proud to join several other leading art fairs in June for a key moment in the art world calendar this year. This will be an exciting revival of TEFAF Maastricht in its 35th anniversary edition and an opportunity to once again bring together the world’s leading collectors and art lovers to meet, experience, and appreciate the rich art history for which TEFAF is known.”

TEFAF Maastricht will accommodate an extensive variety of exhibitors in a new floorplan for this 35th anniversary edition. Details of exhibiting galleries and further announcements on the June fair will be announced shortly.
