(New York) February 23, 2022 – For the first time since 2019, TEFAF New York is hosting an in-person fair–and it is anticipated to be as exceptional as ever. This year, 91 distinguished galleries from around the world will participate, presenting modern and contemporary art, jewelry, antiquities, and design. TEFAF New York will take over the Park Avenue Armory from May 6-10, 2022, with an invitation-only VIP day on May 5, 2022.

“We’re thrilled to open our doors again in New York, welcoming guests to an immersive and profound art experience,” said Charlotte van Leerdam, Managing Director of TEFAF. “With world-class dealers, and museum-quality material at every turn, this edition of the fair will continue TEFAF’s legacy in promoting unparalleled quality and prestige across the artistic landscape.”

TEFAF New York will once again provide art enthusiasts, collectors, design professionals, and museum curators the opportunity to experience curated spaces within the captivating period rooms of the Armory, in addition to the soaring 55,000 square foot Wade Thompson Drill Hall.

According to Katy Knox, president of Bank of America Private Bank, TEFAF New York’s Lead Sponsor, “We are delighted to support New York’s art community by sponsoring the return of TEFAF, one of the art world’s premiere events, to the Park Avenue Armory this May.”

The 2022 lineup comprises 78 returning dealers, and 13 dealers exhibiting for the first time. What’s more, the exhibitors represent 14 countries, coming together to produce an extraordinary collage of creativity and beauty from around the world.
