Updated Statement: An Incident at TEFAF Maastricht June 28

Maastricht, Netherlands, Wednesday June 29: At approximately 11:30AM on Tuesday June 28, a robbery occurred within the fair. Security procedures were activated immediately.

Dutch police were on site within minutes. Nobody was injured during the incident, which took place at a jewelry booth. Jewelry was stolen, but additional details regarding this are not being provided at this time.

Police are interviewing witnesses and have secured CCTV footage. Forensic investigations have also been carried out at the MECC venue.
