Cabinets, writing boxes and caskets, in different materials such as ivory, tortoiseshell and silver with precious metalwork, namely filigree, Gujarati mother-of-pearl objects. Lacquerware (inros, cabinets, chests and writing boxes), and objects made from iron (tsubas). Porcelain, carved ivory statuettes.
Jewellery and Portuguese silver plates, topographical works Kunstkammer objects from the 16th and 17th centuries, including exotic, precious materials and naturalia (mother-of-pearl and tortoiseshell objects made in Asia) first brought to the European royal and princely courts by the Portuguese in the so-called Age of Discovery and which were luxuriously set by European artists in precious, rich mountings.
