Founded in Cologne in 1965, Galerie Gmurzynska is a leading international art gallery specialising in masterpieces of both classic modern and post-war art, and has been operating for 55 years over three generations. Galerie Gmurzynska is also the leading gallery worldwide for artists of the Russian avant-garde and early 20th century abstraction. The gallery’s program, spread across its locations in Switzerland and the USA is dedicated to presenting exhibitions of works of art of unique significance, accompanied by scientifically-researched art historical publications. To date, the gallery has published over 300 books and monographs, which are now part of major art libraries worldwide.
