For over 20 years, Alison Jacques has built a reputation for a curatorial approach that champions pioneering, historically significant, and sometimes under-acknowledged artists.

The focus on intergenerational juxtapositions creates new contexts for the growing roster of international artists, both past and present.

The gallery has represented the Robert Mapplethorpe Foundation since 1999, as well as the ground-breaking American photographer, Gordon Parks. Other estates include Pacita Abad, Maria Barftsxzova, Lygia Clark, Nicola L., Donald Locke, Ana Mendieta, Roy Oxlade, Dorothea Tanning, Lenore Tawney and Hannah Wilke. Contemporary living artists include Sophie Barber, Gee's Bend Quiltmakers, Sheila Hicks, Ian Kiaer, Takuro Kuwata, Graham Little, Veronica Ryan, Sagarika Sundaram, Erika Veruztti and Alison Wilding.
