I've always loved Old Master Drawings. When I studied at the Ecole du Louvre I already specialized in that field, following courses on the drawings by David and Pisanello. After I graduated I worked for two years in the Département des Arts Graphiques in the Louvre. Then I went for three years to the Getty in Los Angeles working for a research project, the Provenance index.
Back in Paris I became the assistant of Pierre Rosenberg, Honorary president and director of the Louvre, helping him in his various projects, most importantly his catalogue raisonné of David's drawings. After seven years there I joined Christie's where I became in 2007 the international head of the Old Master Drawings Department.
I decided to start a new adventure in 2017 and to become a dealer and an art adviser in Paris. While all master drawings remains the core of the gallery's activity I have also developped a speciality in Swedish art around 1900. Since its creation the gallery has handled many sales to institutions, including the Louvre, the Metropolitan Museum, the Getty Museum, the Art Institute of Chicago, the National Gallery of Art, the British Museum...
