Pingel Rare Books
Showcase

Heir to a long tradition of antique dealers, Alexandre Pingel grew up in a family of aesthetes, surrounded by beautiful objects that shaped his taste. Cultivated from an early age, his passion for rare books led him to the antiques trade. In 2020, Alexandre created Pingel Rare Books and gave it an identity that reflects his personal trajectory. His bookshop combines a know-how resulting from his experience in technologies with an expertise developed from a prolonged and permanent contact with the various art forms. Between tradition and modernity, Alexandre embodies a new practice of bookstores that is both at the heart of contemporary trends but also heir to a traditional and meticulous savoir-faire.

His store is located at 67 avenue de Suffren, in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. Facing the Swiss Village, the bookshop is a stone's throw from the Eiffel Tower and the Grand Palais Ephemère. The address is well known to connoisseurs and contributes to making the neighborhood a showcase for the French art of living and collecting.
