Impressionist and Modern Art

Our gallery, located in front of the Elysée Palace in Paris, was founded in 1971 by Françoise Chibret. Her daughter Florence Chibret-Plaussu now conducts the gallery.
We present a selection of Masters from the first half of the 20th Century: Boudin, Cross, Derain, Dubuffet, Dufy, Gromaire, Marquet, Matisse, Miro, Signac, Geer van Velde, Vlaminck… as well as several major figures of figurative art from the 1950’s including Buffet, Gallard, Gruber.
The gallery specialises in paintings and works on paper by the French Impressionists, Post- Impressionists and Modern Masters.
We focus on artists from Neo-Impressionism -exhibitions Signac in 2001 and Cross in 2008- to Modern art with Calder, Derain, Dubuffet, Fautrier, Gromaire, Matisse, Marquet, Picasso, Vieira da Silva and Vlaminck.
