Shapero Rare Books is an internationally renowned dealer in antiquarian books and works on paper. Our experts have over 200 years collective experience in the book world with particular expertise in fine illustrated books from the 15th to the 20th century, travel & voyages, natural history, literature (including modern first editions), children’s books, guidebooks, Hebraica & Judaica and works of Russian interest.

In 2014 we launched Shapero Modern, a modern and contemporary fine art gallery specialising in Post War and Contemporary prints and originals. Under the leadership of Gallery Director Tabitha Philpott-Kent, Shapero Modern has recently launched their new Maddox Street Gallery with a bold new exhibition programme.
