Marjan Sterk Fine Art Jewellery

Marjan Sterk specializes in antique and vintage high end jewellery. The collection comprises jewellery from early 19th century to contemporary artist jewellery. From highly decorative gem set jewellery to sculptural designs (wearable art). The main focus is on signed post war jewellery from the most important jewellery houses such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Boivin, Tiffany & Co., Boucheron and Belperron. Also Marjan works with established artists such as Gijs Bakker and Giampaolo Babetto who show their earlier work in her collection. These are all artists whose work can be found in important collections worldwide like the London V&A Museum, the Paris Musée des Arts Décoratifs or the Münich Danner Stiftung. The combination of antiques, vintage and artists is important to show the development of jewellery design through the years, as well as the link between artist jewellery and contemporary art.
