Our name Kallos, means ‘beauty’ in ancient Greek and the three artworks we have chosen for TEFAF online illuminate through visual means the differing forms of idealised beauty in the ancient world.

Madeleine Perridge
Madeleine Perridge, joined Kallos as Gallery Director in 2016 after more than a decade working with Antiquities and Ancient Art at a major London auction house. She read Classical Archaeology and Ancient History at Oxford University and has a Masters in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art.
