The Future of Art Fairs

Produced in partnership with the Financial Times, this panel explores the place of art fairs now that they are back. What have we learned and what could come next?

TEFAF Talks are interactive panel discussions presented in collaboration with TEFAF’s partners to share knowledge and expertise.

Art fairs played a dominant role in the market for decades but were forced to shut their doors when the COVID-19 pandemic struck. Now that the fairs are back, and collectors and dealers have the opportunity to reassess the place of fairs, a panel of art world professionals discussed what have we learned along the way and what could follow. During TEFAF New York 2022, we look back at the past months to review and discuss what’s ahead for the future of art fairs.
