Public Transport
Travelling by train is one of the easiest and most sustainable ways to travel to TEFAF Maastricht. This reflects TEFAF’s ongoing commitment to more sustainable practices as a member of the Gallery Climate Coalition. Read more about TEFAF’s sustainability initiatives here.
Maastricht-Randwyck railway station is located just 250 metres from MECC Maastricht and offers connections to the international rail network. Regular services also connect Maastricht-Randwyck with Maastricht Central Station, providing convenient access to the city centre and onward travel.
For a Direct Connection
Since June 2024, the Three Country Train has provided direct connections between Maastricht, Heerlen and Aachen, with services running twice an hour. An hourly service also connects Maastricht with Liège. These connections offer convenient onward travel to major European cities, including Antwerp, Paris, Brussels and London, as well as Cologne, Frankfurt and Düsseldorf.
By Train
Maastricht-Randwyck railway station is located just 250 metres from MECC Maastricht and offers connections to the international rail network. By Bus
Buses run every five minutes from Maastricht city centre and Maastricht Central Station to MECC Maastricht. Alight at the Forum MECC stop, located directly at the fair venue.
By Plane
TEFAF Maastricht is easily accessible from several international and intercontinental airports, many of which are within one hour of Maastricht.
By Car
As you approach Maastricht, follow the motorway signs for ‘Liège Maastricht-Zuid’ and subsequently ‘MECC’. From Amsterdam/Eindhoven, take exit 55 (Randwyck-MECC); from Paris/Liège, take exit 56 (Gronsveld-MECC).
MECC Maastricht offers ample parking across several car parks, all within a maximum ten-minute walk of the venue. Accessible parking spaces are available in P4, near the main entrance, and P1. Please display your official parking permit (GPK) clearly on your dashboard.
For electric vehicles, 26 charging stations are available at P4. Please follow the directions of the traffic wardens on arrival.

Accessibility
TEFAF Maastricht is fully accessible to visitors using wheelchairs. Wheelchairs are available to reserve free of charge from MECC Maastricht, subject to availability. To reserve a wheelchair, please contact MECC Maastricht at [email protected] or +31 43 3838383, providing your name, telephone number, and preferred date and time. Visitors attending TEFAF Maastricht in a wheelchair may be accompanied by one guest at no additional charge.
Accessible parking spaces are available in several MECC Maastricht car parks. P4, located near the main entrance, has six accessible spaces, while P1 has two accessible spaces on each floor, located near the lifts. Please display your official parking permit (GPK) clearly on the dashboard when using these spaces.
Service dogs are welcome at TEFAF Maastricht upon presentation of the required documentation. For the safety and comfort of all visitors, other dogs and animals are not permitted at the fair.
The security metal detectors used at TEFAF Maastricht do not affect pacemakers.
MECC Maastricht also provides several wheelchair-accessible restrooms throughout the venue.
Complementary Shuttle Service
In collaboration with the City of Maastricht, TEFAF offers a complimentary shuttle service between Maastricht city centre and MECC Maastricht. The service operates from Thursday, March 11 to Thursday, March 18, with several pick-up points throughout the city centre. Please refer below to the exact timetable.
