About the Work

This major rediscovery of a work by the young Jacob Jordaens allows us to complete the artist's corpus. This work, long thought to have disappeared during the war, miraculously resurfaced in 2022.

We are grateful to Dr. Brecht Vanoppen and Dr. Joost Vander Auwera for confirming the authenticity of the painting.
