About the Work

An impressive Garland Style platinum and diamond feather brooch by Cartier Paris, set throughout with approximately 23 carats of diamonds. The platinum mount shows the typical 'mille grains' finish. Detachable brooch fitting.


According to the Cartier archives, this brooch was made in 1914 as a special order, in the 'Garland style' at the client’s request.
