About the Work

This is one of the best quality modelli by Giordano available at the moment. It represents the Allegory of Fortitude from the famous frecoe ceiling of the Hall of Mirrors of the Pallazo Medici Riccardi in Florence. The composition, the coloring and the handling of the figures shows the art of Giordano at its best.
