About the Work

This powerful image of one of Nonell´s favorite subjects shows his art at his most mature and modern style.It reflects the modern spirit of the period of the group of Els Quatre Gats as it is dated 1907. It is particularly interesting and attractive for collectors as it was exhibited at the Guggenheim New York in 1960, the first show in the USA of spanish modern painting.
