About the Work

These artworks a very rare examples of the work of René Lalique creative genius. The blue vase 'Fontaines' has six masks as a stopper whose mouths water out on the body of the vase, thus making it a symbolic Fountain. The honey yellow vase with the striking Art Deco design 'Courlis' was designed in the years of economic crisis, not many were sold, in this color only very few are known to exist today.
