SHINADA Shinichi (1904–1983) was born in Niigata Prefecture, Shinada Shinichi was a Japanese metalwork artist active in the mid-20th century. He graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts in 1927 and trained under Ishida Eiichi, an established metalwork artist of the Tokyo school. He participated at several Nitten exhibitions and later served as Chairman of the Shinsō Craft Society (Shinsō Kōgeikai), a postwar association dedicated to contemporary craft practices.
