Commissioned by Gustaf V, King of Sweden and given on 25th November 1908 to Mr. Armand Fallières, President of the French Republic - Kept by President Fallières in his private collection after the end of his presidential term in 1913 and taken to his Château de Loupillon, in Villeneuve-de-Mézin, France - Thence by family descent until 2023 - Marc Labarbe, Toulouse, 16th June 2023, lot 222
